Dr Elizabeth Anne Riley is a Sydney-based counsellor, supervisor, and educator specialising in supervision, ethics and gender identity and has been in practice for nearly 20 years. Elizabeth is also a supervisor of supervisors and has written supervision training curriculum for students and supervisors. Elizabeth is currently the Chair of the Ethics Committee for the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), and was a counsellor and consultant for the St James Ethics Centre for many years.

Elizabeth has a Masters in Counselling and a PhD titled ‘The needs of gender variant children and their parents’. Elizabeth is a member of the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA), Society for Counselling & Psychotherapy Educators (SCAPE) and the Australian and World Professional Association for Transgender Health (ANZPATH & WPATH). Elizabeth has published and presented papers and workshops, both locally and internationally, in the areas of Supervision, Sexuality, Gender Identity, and Ethics. Qualifications: PhD, MA (Couns), Grad Dip Couns, Dip Hom, Bsc.
